A coroner’s inquest into a mass killing on the James Smith Cree Nation and in the nearby village of Weldon entered it’s second week Monday. Chief Calvin Sanderson of the Chakastaypasin Band, one of three communities that make up James Smith, and Courtney McLeod, whose family members were stabbed, respond to testimony. (Jan. 22, 2024)
