Liberal MP Greg Fergus says he will be running for the position of House of Commons Speaker, adding he will encourage frank and passionate free debate. Conservative MP Chris d'Entremont, who is currently a deputy Speaker, is also running and says he would endeavour to be of service to all MPs. (Sept. 27, 2023)
