Canadian man survives driving off cliff in Hawaii

A Canadian tourist in Hawaii has survived driving over a cliff after he took a wrong turn while looking for a place to watch the sunrise. Hawaii Fire Department Chief Kazuo Todd says the man was in a rented Jeep on Hawaii's Big Island when he went over the edge. The 27-year-old man had some minor scrapes and was hypothermic when rescuers found him 100 metres offshore. (Feb. 29, 2024)
