Health Canada approves updated Moderna vaccine for COVID-19

Health Canada chief medical adviser Dr. Supriya Sharma says Moderna’s updated COVID-19 vaccine is authorized for anyone over the age of six months. Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam says the vaccine is expected to better protect against the current strains of COVID-19 now circulating in Canada. (Sept. 12, 2023)
