B.C. panel calls for more controlled drugs without prescriptions

A British Columbia Coroners Service death review panel says community groups should be permitted to provide controlled drugs to fight the overdose crisis. The recommendation was immediately rejected by the B.C. government, but chief coroner Lisa Lapointe says the province must embrace urgent actions to save lives. (Nov. 1, 2023)
