Ukrainian newcomer prepares to mark first Canada Day
Tonya Barabash fled her home in Ukraine with her husband and seven-year-old son four months ago. They are settled in Ottawa, where Barabash has found a job, a school for her child and a home, but she says it is still difficult starting anew. The family is getting set to mark their first Canada Day on Canadian soil. (June 30th 2023)
