    Seamus O’Regan: Discrimination led to ‘shame’ for LGTBQ people

    Veterans Affairs Minister Seamus O’Regan spoke emotionally after a formal government apology for anti-LGBTQ discrimination. O’Regan, who is openly gay, said Tuesday the government showed it was trying to “right a wrong.”
