Newsroom Ready: Ford offers to host premiers' meeting to address national unity

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he has offered to host a meeting of the premiers in Toronto after what he calls a divisive federal election. Almost all of the premiers all held a conference call on Friday and Ford says he made the offer to play host for a face-to-face meeting after the federal cabinet is unveiled later this month. Ford says the call came about after he met recently with New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs and they looped in Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe by phone, with the three of them discussing getting all of the premiers together.
