Newsroom Ready: Scheer says it's possible to hold socially conservative views and be prime minister
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer says he believes it's possible for him to hold socially conservative views and be prime minister. But in his first sit-down since failing to form a majority government on Monday, Scheer says he knows party members are asking tough questions about whether he is the right person to lead the party into the next election. As for when that will be? He says that's up to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
