Newsroom Ready: Ian Williams wins $100k Giller prize

Ian Williams won the $100,000 Scotiabank Giller Prize at a Toronto gala Monday night. The Vancouver-based writer’s debut novel, “Reproduction,” traces the ties that bind a cross-cultural chosen family in Williams’ hometown of Brampton, Ont. Williams says the win feels "surreal."
